What does home cleaning cost, and what makes up the price?

The price depends only on the length of the visit. Frequency doesn't change the hourly rate, and the household deduction is 40% of the labour share.

The price of home cleaning depends on the length of the visit. Frequency doesn't change the hourly rate, and there's no start-up fee or travel charge. Prices include VAT.

Hourly rates

  • Regular home cleaning, 2 h: €47/h
  • Regular home cleaning, 3 h: €45/h
  • Regular home cleaning, 4 h: €44/h
  • Regular home cleaning, 6 h or more: €42/h
  • One-off, move-out and deep cleaning: €55/h

A visit is at least 2 hours. Regular cleaning can be weekly, every other week or once a month, and the hourly rate is the same for all. A longer visit is cheaper per hour because travel is spread over more time.

What it costs after the deduction

The household deduction (kotitalousvähennys) is 40% of the labour share. The annual excess is €150, and the deduction is at most €2,100 per person.

Example: a 62 m² home, a 3-hour visit every other week. The visit costs €135. When one adult uses the deduction, the price comes to about €86.77 per visit and about €188 a month.

For extras, work done in your home qualifies. Supplies and travel don't, and they appear as their own line on the receipt. Read more about the 2026 increase.

How payment works

You save a payment card when you book. Nothing is charged in advance: each visit is charged only after it's done.

There's no notice period. You can pause or stop at any time.
